A joint concert with the Chess Valley Male Voice Choir in celebration of 100 years of the RNLI.
Programme includes; Captain Noah and his Floating Zoo, Crossing the Bar, Rhythm of Life Venue: St Mary's Church, Church Street, Chesham, HP5 1HY We are delighted to partner with Age UK Dacorum for the third year running, to present a Community Christmas Concert 2023. Hosted by St Peter's Church, Berkhamsted, there will be congregational carols, seasonal readings by local celebrities and festive songs performed by the Castle Choir under our new Musical Director, Tim Smith.
We're delighted to announce the date of our next performance - Travel the northern hemisphere with us through music from Europe, the USA and Japan.
We'll be joined by our special guests, Inscape Duo, a beautiful collaboration by the globally-renowned chromatic harmonica player, Shima Koyabashi, and talented composer, pianist and singer, Andrew Melvin. Anybody planning to attend is invited to come along to our first rehearsal of the summer term - Wednesday 19 April, 20:00-21:30 at Victoria School, Berkhamsted. In preparation for the Castle Choir’s summer performance 'Around the Northern Hemisphere', we’re running another free singing workshop on Sunday, 16 April from 2:30pm - 4:30pm at The Court House, Church Lane, Berkhamsted HP4 2AX and you’re invited!
